Me ,Myself and my Gear

Hi im SHAGPILE, (Jason) and I'm 29 and from NE England. I live in a poxy little nowhere town called Bedlington, about 10 miles from Newcastle and I have lived in this town all my life . I've been interested in music and playing guitar for as long as i can remember and have been writing for the last few years! The main music I'm listening to at the moment is Ray Lamontagne, Paolo Nutini, Kelly Joe Phelps,Tommy Emmanuel , Tenacious D, The Black Crowes, James Morrison ,The Beatles,The Jam and of course the good old Bob Dylan and also away from the acoustic side of things ive been listening to Billy Talent, Razorlight, The Kooks, Audioslave and just about anything else I can get my hands on including as much unsigned music as i can!! I also play in a rock/punk band called Stolen Tom so if your into that stuff too..check us out........Thanx for popping in!!

GEAR: Everything is Recorded in my Bedroom in my little flat. Heres a list of the stuff I use Cubase SX and a Behringer UB120FX-pro Mixing Desk. I own a few guitars which include my Taylor 314ce, Yamaha Apx 9c, an old Autoria acoustic(gibson copy), Ibanez acoustic bass, Schecter C/SH-1 electric and an old 12-string I bought off “ebay” for £30 (sounds like a bag of hammers). I use a SE Electronic 2200 condenser mic for recording vocals and I also have a M-Audio keystation Pro 88 for piano but aint got a clue how to play it so if any one does and wants to come and show me how. Feel free!!! Thanks for having a spoach on the site!!!
